If you don’t use your Recycle bin to store deleted windows files then you might want to remove it from your desktop. Here is a quick trick to remove it. This trick involves registry editing so I highly suggest that you make abackup first on your registry before proceeding with the steps below.
1. Click on Start –> Run –> type Regedit
2. Browse down to the following values.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/explorer/Desktop/NameSpace
3. Click on the Recycle Bin on the right hand pane then press delete.
4. Say goodbye to your Recycle Bin Icon on your desktop
