Now with iPhone5 you can watch Live TV and project slide presentations. If Analyst Brian White from Ticonderoga Securities is to be believed then Live TV and Pico Projector are gonna be the new features in Apple iPhone 5.
According to White he himself heard from suppliers that Mobile Digital TV and Miniature Embedded Pico Projectors are will be the major additions to smartphones in near future. Though he did not got a specific indication that Apple’s gonna include such hardware in its next-generation iPhone, he said these features would be “attractive” candidates for the “iPhone 5″ which can be expected to be released mid-2011.
White wrote in a note to investors,

“Watching local TV stations on a smartphone could be an attractive option for some consumers. Additionally, an embedded pico projector allows users to project a slide presentation or video on a wall or other surface in large size, which makes sense for the iPhone 5 in our view, as Apple seeks to expand the features in the next-generation iPhone.”
