Google Chrome 11 Stable Released – Install it in Ubuntu

Today Google announced the release of stable version of Chrome 11 for Mac, Windows and Linux. This stable version (11.0.696.57) is ready for everyone and can be downloaded from their official page. But for Ubuntu users it is recommended to add the chrome repository which will keep the browser updated.
Chrome has new changed logo and it comes with several bug fixes and performance enhancement, and modifications including speech input through HTML. You can now speak to your browser to translate to another language and have it as text. Translation process simplified. Know more changes from here.
To install Chrome 11 Stable in Ubuntu run the following commands in Terminal:
sudo -s
echo “deb http://dl.google.com/linux/deb/ stable non-free main” | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list
wget -q -O – https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub | apt-key add -
apt-get update
apt-get install google-chrome-stable
