Finally Android Fans and HTC customer won! After HTC decided to locking theEVO 3D’s boot-loader, they got huge feedback from users that the company just making it’s customers disappointed. Finally HTC realized they shouldn’t really locked the bootloader. The unlocked bootloader alow users to put custom ROM the way they want it be on their device. On a post at Facebook page company’s CEO Peter Chou said:
There has been overwhelmingly customer feedback that people want access to open bootloaders on HTC phones. I want you to know that we’ve listened. Today, I’m confirming we will no longer be locking the bootloaders on our devices. Thanks for your passion, support and patience.
Though we don’t have any info yet, if HTC will also provide some sort of way to Unlock the Bootloader for those devices already locked or they just won’t lock the bootloader on upcoming devices.
